Goblins, Ghouls, and Ghosts

Typically, when I think of holiday fabrics,
my mind conjures up images of my elementary school teachers
wearing their holiday sweaters in all their tacky glory.

In the fabric world, designers have mastered making trendy, chic Christmas fabrics.
However, the other holidays have been left behind to suffer.
Until now.

The folks at Moda have conjured up some Halloween designs that pull elements from contemporary graphics.
The result: Halloween fabric that is NOTHING like your old teachers sweater!!!

Jack O' Lantern

Frankenstein

Goblin

Black Cat

Candy Corn
If you would like one of these spooky fabrics made into an apron, just say so!
Enter the name of the fabric just as you would any of the standard choices.
BOO!

local love

Today I wanted to share with you one of my new favorite shops, Blue Bird Lucys. This spring I ran into this little gem at the Cherokee Triangle Art Festival. It was love at first sight! I love their vintage inspired jewelry and headbands. It will definitely be complementing my attire to summer weddings. Enjoy!

Hi Honey, I'm Home!

I am back from a very relaxing vacation on the beach.

As I mentioned before, while I was gone one of my aprons was given away as a prize by Angela Anderson Photography. AAP's wonderfully fabulous Rachel was photographed wearing the apron.

How adorable is she!

Something different about this apron is the 44 inch waist ties. It isn't shown, however the waist ties can be wrapped around and tied in the front.

Also, while I was away I got a lovely shout out, from a lovely friend, with a lovely business. Posies & Plume make beautiful hair clips, headbands, shoe clips, and cake toppers. You can read the blog post here.

Well now that I am home I will be back hard at work with some new ideas for you. I know you will be waiting with bated breath!
